Kenny Rogers Dead — American country music star has died of natural causes at the age of 81

Kenny Rogers Dead — The world-renowned American Country music star died at 81 in his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, of natural causes.

Rogers ‘ husky voice and down-home style won him three Grammy awards and made him the leading figure in American music for over four decades.

The tracks he produced were karaoke standards for almost too long, such as Lucilles and Islands in the stream.

Because of the national emergency of the COVID-19, the family is currently preparing a small private funeral, with a public memorial planned later on.

In 2015, Rogers announced a farewell tour and was able to continue through December 2017.

The singer grew up in Texas on a bad federal farm. During his youth, he formed many bands including Kenny Rogers and the First edition before he ended up as a solo artist during 1978.

Having collaborated professionally with many big stars such as Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton, with whom he duets on the Bee Gees’ Islands in the Stream, he is the 10th best-male artist in the United States.

Thirty-five years ago, he played a key role in the charity single We Are the World song for the relief of hunger.

Coward of the County and The Gambler, first released as the title track of an album in 1978, were two more key crossover hits. During the 2007 World Cup, the latter became the theme of the UK rugby team.

In 2013, he played The Gambler twice, as a result of his success, at the Glastonbury Festival.

The artist, who was mourned by fans in the social media this weekend, once summarized his achievement with a general crowd by stating that the conventional lyrics in his songs “say what every man wants to say and that every woman wants to hear”.

The playwright and director William Baldwin expressed his sorrow.

“I know what I’ll be doing with my next few days in quarantine. Thank you, Kenny Rogers, for your incredible gift to unite us through your amazing music.”

In his album The Gambler Ending, several tributes quoted the words of one verse “cause every hand’s a winner and every hand’s a loser and the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep”.

Rogers had five marriages and five kids. Since 1997, his wife Wanda Miller has been revealing that Kenny Rogers ‘ funeral will be a small private affair because of the influenza pandemic.
