The winners of the NET Honours 2021

On Sunday, June 20, 2021, an online virtual event revealed the complete list of winners at the 2021 NET Honours People’s Choice Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious audience-based awards.

The NET Honours People’s Choice Awards winners for 2021 were announced during a live virtual event on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

Awarded by ID Africa, NET Honours is an annual recognition of innovations and top performers in the entertainment industry and public sector.

The NET Honours program recognizes achievers based on audience search results, consumer interest, social media interactions and trends.

Based on audience engagement data from Netng, Neusroom, 234Star and Orin channel websites, social media and other related channels between June 2020 and May 2021, the awards are based on a database of over eight million internet users.

All the Winners at the 2021 NET Honours People’s Choice Awards

In 2013, the Nigerian Entertainment Conference Live (NECLive) introduced NET Honours as a special recognition award presented to deserving individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

It evolved into the NET Honours People’s Choice Awards in 2016; thereafter, it went virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, reaching more than ten million worldwide.

There were 25 categories for the NET Honours 2021, including Most Popular Male Musician, Most Searched Female Musician, Most Popular Couple, Most Popular Event, Most Searched Actress, and Most Played Alternative Song in addition to others.
