Tucker Carlson loses ad sponsors over Black Lives Matter ideas: Following the host’s controversial comments on the Black Lives Matter movement, several companies, including ABC and T-Mobile, will be withdrawing ads for Tucker Carlson tonight.

Tucker Carlson, a conservative-leaning commentator who is an anchor of the Fox News prime-time series, took to his site to express the denial of national movements to end racial injustice in the police force.

Describing the peaceful protests in fifty states as “Black Lives Matter riots,” the conservative pundit said to his audience that there was “no need to regret” the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd.

A police officer and his death sparked a national movement to end police brutality.

“It can be a lot of things. We’re living in the moment,” Mr Carlson warned his audience, “But it’s certainly not about black lives, remember when they come for you. At this rate, they do.” When he said “they,” it was unclear who he was referring to, according to a spokesman for Fox News a day later.

Carlson said he was referring to Democrats and not Black Lives Matter activists. However, the scare did not diminish the supporters of his show.

Sponsor distance themselves

T-Mobile tweeted, “We haven’t run Tucker Carlson’s Tonight ads since the beginning of May and have cancelled all future locations. We will continue to support those who stand against racial injustice. “Mike Seward, CEO of Telecommunications,” Bye-Bye Tucker Carlson! “ Tweeted that.

Disney has also proposed that 29 ads directed at Coulson’s show were “put on the show by [third-party media buyers] without their knowledge.” A spokesman for Disney-owned TV network ABC told Deadline that the ads for ABC’s House of Mouse were placed incorrectly during Carlson’s slot.

The spokesperson said that all future ads would be immediately pulled.

Papa John’s Pizza and online retailer Poshmark pulled sponsorship from Carlson’s constituency in response to the controversy. The vacuum of support for the polarization program comes at a time when companies are struggling to find a better way to recognize the national call for racism.

However, this is not the first time that Tucker Carlson is alienating advertisers. In 2018, 20 companies stopped buying time during the slot, following Carlson’s claim that immigrants are “poor, and dirty, and more divided” in the U.S.

In the summer of 2019, he became angry that white supremacy was a “hoax” and should be considered a conspiracy theory.

For their part, fleeing ad sponsors say the network has done little to harm the company financially, and Tucker Carlson notes that ads that run tonight will now play out during the network’s other projects.
